Have you noticed? Once you hit 40, losing weight becomes harder and harder….. Why???…..this is because once we turn 40, our metabolic rate — in other words our ability to burn calories — drops. If I could go back in time and give my 39-year-old self one piece of advice it would be not to put on weight, because it’s so much harder to lose it in your 40s. “A Tropical Spring Break”……Thailand.

I’ve always wanted to travel to Thailand, partially because I’m originally from a tropical country and always wanted to see how different cultures can be in another country with similar natural resources. It is a country of diversity; a place where east perfectly blends with West, from the sophisticated city of Bangkok, to the beautiful beaches on the mainland & islands and the tropical forests that make up the national parks. “A Swan on Ice”…..

Hello my lovelies hope you all had a great week. I sure did and I am so looking forward to the festive period and holidays. Recently I have been out in nature alot despite the cold cold weather outside. This year I challenged myself to be more open to the season. I’ve met a few people who classify themselves as “winter people” and I have never quite understood them until now. Honestly, I am not a “winter person” and the season finds me mostly indoors, layers upon layers of knits covering my body.  I normally love to go for long walks in nature and just take in the beauty all around especially in Spring and Summer.
